Pachi Mirapakaya Pachadi/Green chilli Chutney
Another delight for chilli lovers Got extra chillies from market so thought of making either hari mirch ka achar or pachi mirapkaya pachadi. I didnt have ingredients for the former so opted for the latter . Here is the recipe
INGREDIENTS :-
Green chillies :- 10-12 (Take the ones which are spicy hot. Cut them into half longitudinal way. Apply salt an keep aside for 10 minutes)
Sesame seeds/Nuvvulu:- a cup
Urad dal:- 1/2 cup
Chana dal:-1/2 cup
jeera :-1 teaspoon
Mustard seeds:- 1 teaspoon
Methi /fenugreek seeds:- a teaspoon
Tamarind pulp :- 1/2 cup
Jaggery ;- large piece , adjust
Salt :- as required
Oil :- a tablespoon
For Tempering/seasoning :-
Urad Dal :- 1 teaspoon
chana dal:- 1 teaspoon
jeera :- 1 teaspoon
aavalu/mustard seeds :- 1 teaspoon
Curry leaves :- 2-3
Hing :- a pinch
Urad Dal :- 1 teaspoon
chana dal:- 1 teaspoon
jeera :- 1 teaspoon
aavalu/mustard seeds :- 1 teaspoon
Curry leaves :- 2-3
Hing :- a pinch
METHOD ;-
- Take a little oil and fry sesame seeds and Urad dal for 4-5 minutes till they turn slight brown,keep aside
- Take chana dal, jeera , methi and mustard fry them and keep aside
- Take Remaining oil(leave a bit for seasoning) add salted green chillies and fry them for 4-5 minutes.
- Add tamarind pulp, jaggery an grind together with urad dal sesame seeds, chana dal jeera, methi and mustard ,adjust salt
- Add the remaining oil and ad seasoning ingredients and top it on the chutney
